• HRMS PRODUCTION OF NEWSIES | The Holten Richmond production of Newsies Jr. has been cast and will be performed at Danvers High School from February 6th - 8th.  Tickets will go on sale on Monday, January 20th. Good luck to the cast and crew as they prepare for the show next month!

• NEWSIES T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST | Any middle school student interested in submitting a design for the Newsies JR. production t-shirt can do so by Thursday, January 16th! For more information on the t-shirt design contest see these guidelines.

• STUDENT SUCCESS AT NORTHEAST DISTRICTS| The Danvers High School music department had five students selected to the MMEA Northeast District ensembles.  Piper Brett, Deborah Chavez Lima, and Kaelin Hampe were selected to the Chorus, JJ Murphy (euphonium) to the Concert Band, and Chase Richmond (trombone) to the Jazz Band.  These students will perform in Lexington, MA at the Northeast District HS Festival on January 11th.  Kaelin and Chase were recommended to audition for the MMEA All-State Ensembles.  ​​

• HRMS WINTER CONCERTS | The Holten Richmond Middle School Winter concerts will be held at Danvers High School this January and feature the Concert Bands and Choruses.  6th grade on January 21st, 7th grade on January 22nd, and 8th grade on January 23rd.  The concerts will all begin at 6:30pm and are free to the public.  Donations will be collected for the middle school music program.

• HS MUSIC TO DISNEY | The high school music department will be traveling to Disney World in the Spring of 2026.  Studnets currently in grades 8-11 are eligible to attend if they are a member of one of the high school concert season ensembles next year.  See our travel page for more information.  ​​

• SAVE THE DATE - JAZZ & A CAPPELLA NIGHT | The annual DPS Jazz and A Cappella Night will be held at Danvers High School on February 1st and feature all of the high school choral groups and jazz band, as well as the HRMS Jazz Bands and Hawks in Harmony.  The popular Northshoremen Chorus will also perform.  Tickets will go on sale Monday, January 13th.
